Training

This type of training involved creating a deck for use in the classroom. An experienced engineer or trainer presented the slides, provided additional information and responded to questions asked by the group.
This first example was presented to administrators who were preparing and scheduling data transfers between individual police cars and the central station. Hot spot transfer points were created around the station in the parking lot, fueling stations and repair bays where the cars would remain for a short period of time. Tickets created by the cars were transferred up to the station for processing. Information such as BOLOs and procedural updates were also transferred down to the cars.
This training was prepared for an electronics client who was transitioning away from home grown systems and replacing them with Agile modules. Development involved reviewing the current processes and procedures and, with SMEs, modifying them for use with the Agile modules. With the deck, an engineer or instructor would record voice-over training as the slides were presented.
The recorded voice presentation and slides were added to the corporate LMS. Learners could reference the training whenever convenient for them. Training was offered up to the date that the new Agile processing went go live.
